Founder Mr. Isaac L. Mahlatsi
Founder and Director, had his upbringing in Moteong, Tembisa, where he spent most of his high school years. During his early adulthood, Mr. Mahlatsi embarked on pursuing his passion for youth development. This led him to become the CEO of Thusong Youth Center, located on 12th Ave in Alexandra. He initiated various programs aimed at benefiting the youth of the township.
My Story
As a result of his dedicated work, many of the young individuals who participated in these programs have gone on to achieve success in their adult lives.
In 1991-1992, Mr. Mahlatsi made the decision to step down from his position to broaden his knowledge and work experience. He aimed to bring his expertise back to the community he cherished and grew up in. It was during this time that the initial stages of the Child Academy Programmes were conceived. From then until his passing, Isaac L. Mahlatsi dedicated his life, knowledge, and time to the development of Tembisa's youth and community. He started from scratch and established an Independent Combined School, known as Child Academy Programmes, which currently boasts an attendance of over 1800 learners.
